He received his undergraduate degree from Marmara University, Department of Economics, MBA from Marmara University, Department of Business Administration, and PhD degrees from Işık University, Department of Business Administration, with his thesis in the field of 'Change Management and Leadership'.

Serhat Tatlı, who worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Business Administration at Marmara University between 1998 and 2000, worked as a Manager, General Manager, Chief Executive Officer, Managing Partner and Member of the Board of Directors for 11 years at Tekofaks/Panasonic Group of Companies, which he joined in 2000. He was the founding shareholder and digital marketing consultant of the Turkey business partnership of Toronto-based digital marketing company WSI. He is the founder The Change Academy® . He is the Executive Board and Chairman of the Board of TeQeN® GmbH.

He has been the owner of the Degisim Doktoru® (Doctor of Change) brand since 2012, and with this brand identity, he has taken the stage as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences and corporate organizations on these topics, as well as providing senior leadership, strategy and change management consultancy. He had the honor of being the first Turk among the leadership gurus who spoke at GILD (The Global Institute for Leadership Development), which was selected as the world's number 1 leadership development summit for 7 consecutive years by Leadership Excellence. He also worked as a team leader and senior coach at GILD in 2015-2017. Tatlı has worked as a guest and permanent lecturer at many universities on organizational change management, leadership, innovation and new generation entrepreneurship.

In addition to his identities as a businessman, speaker and consultant, he has been a sports commentator on more than 1,000 live broadcasts on TV and radio since 2009 as a hobby.
